From personal experience I know what it is to be inspired by a teacher. Many teachers come and go throughout your life, but there are some that really make a difference and impact your life in a positive way. I am lucky to have the opportunity to inspire and to be a positive influence in young minds.  Art has changed my life; it has given me the tools to be successful and to express myself. I want to pass on my love and passion for art to my students.  I feel extreme pride in the success of my students, as if it was my own. I encourage my students to create art that speaks to them and not feel limited or pressured by a grade.

I joined the Encore family 7 years ago. I teach different levels of drawing and painting, as well as, mural painting and sculpture. My portfolio includes paintings, ceramics, printmaking, sculpture, and installation art. I first found my passion for art in high school when I was put in a painting class that I didn’t choose to be in. However, thanks to that I found my inner artist and I hope to help my students find their artist within.  I am the team advisor for the the Art Crew team and Cosplay team. I have been working in education for over 16 years, and I strongly believe that art is a great way to express yourself and has the ability to save lives. I am grateful to be inspired by my students every day.
