IE Artist Spotlight: Sue Barcus

I am a lover of all things ART, but when I picked up a camera in the early 70’s my heart was smitten. My name is Sue Barcus.

I taught high school art and I also taught digital art and photography at Rim of the World High School in the San Bernardino Mountains for 22 years.  Before that, I taught art and coached at Chino High School for four years and MPH middle school for 6. I also worked for local newspapers and as a commercial photographer for 30 years in the Inland Empire. Even though I am retired and now living in Colorado, putting the camera down is not an option. I am still working for a local newspaper photographing high school sports.

I used to tell my classes that getting to do what you love for a living is a lifetime dream.

I am still living that dream….
